Who would have thought that I’d star in a movie that’s at the cutting edge of science and technology! Racing To 500#iam500 is not only a social-phenomenon but sci-tech as well.
Come out to the film premiere of Racing To 500, Saturday June 14th at the Chinese Theatre Hollywood starring Leland Chad.
“I come from a small town and a large family with well over thirty cousins. I want my little cousins to know they can do anything they put their minds to and with a little faith their dreams are possible. I was blessed to tell someone’s story and as an artist and actor this true story inspired me beyond imagine. 1 in 68 kids have autism. There is no cure or preventions but billions of dollars in treatments and research are saving the lives of Americas youth everyday. Although I may not be autistic, growing up being shy, became just as disabling, as some-of the disabling social symptoms kids with Autism face today.”
Racing To 500 #iam500 is a new age sports story phenomenon, shining light to life with autism.  Racing To 500, a true story, is about Greg- a mildly autistic highschooler who refused to be defined by disability, a protective father and a class bully; to become a part of his high school varsity swim team. Against all odds, Greg triumphs and wins the Racing 500 swimming championship.
Racing To 500, #iam500 was recently nominated for, not one, but three, Rose Reel Awards at the 2014 John Paul II International Film Festival. Including the win, Best Performance in a Short Film award. For those 1 in 68 kids with Autism, this movie is for them.
